Which chapter in World History did you enjoy most this year and why?
The chapter I enjoyed the most in world history was chapter 16! I enjoyed it because I liked learning about the Reign of Terror and Napoleon! Napoleon did many amazing things! I learned that he was a young officer in the army! The Reign of Terror was a period of violence. I’ve learned many things in this chapter!
2. Describe some of the things that you learned in that chapter. Is there a project that you completed that you enjoyed working on? Some things that I learned in chapter 16 was that France’s monarchy was on the edge of collapse. Also I learned that France’s tax system was unfair! I also learned that in 1804 he became emperor of France. My favorite project that I did was with David, Christine, and Owen. I think that overall we made our video well! We finished our project and we had two hours left.
3. What new skills have you learned throughout the year? I learned how to study better. I learned how to study better by making study cards. I also studied every night before I went to bed. I think since I made study cards I’ve been getting better grades on my tests. I am very proud of myself!
4.How can you apply this knowledge to the real world? I can apply this knowledge to the real world when we are writing a paper about history you can know about Napoleon’s conquest. You could also apply this knowledge to the real world if you are writing a book or if you are a social studies teacher. I think that it’s really good if you know about history and the things that happened so you can tell your children or your grand children about the olden days.
